Save the date: Power questions of digitisation
As a result of the Corona crisis, the conference on “Power questions of digitisation” planned for March 2020 was cancelled. With regard to digitisation in the world of work, the crisis has given this development a decisive boost. Mobile work and virtual forms of communication are no longer just a marginal phenomenon, but ubiquitous. Advantages and disadvantages are becoming abundantly clear. The dependence on a few digital platforms and the danger of comprehensive surveillance are also becoming obvious. At the same time, more and more people and institutions are looking for alternatives that are data protection-friendly and oriented towards the common good.
Under these changed circumstances we want to make up for the conference on 19 and 20 January 2021 as a virtual conference. We ask everyone to make a note of this date now. Further information will follow after the summer break.
