Vita
Prof. Dr. Klaus-Michael Ahrend has been a member of HEAG’s Executive Board since 2008.
He is a member of numerous supervisory bodies and advisory boards as well as associations of the municipal economy. He is also a lecturer in energy management and corporate governance and an honorary professor at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
After studying business administration at the University of St. Gallen and obtaining his doctorate at the University of Trier, he worked as a management consultant for Accenture in Germany and abroad. He then took on management responsibilities at the municipal utility company in Offenbach.
