The SECP cordially invites you to participate in the online panel of the event “Wachstum, Globalisierung und der Europäische Green Deal”. It will take place on 11th March from 16:00 to 17:45 in cooperation with the Evangelische Akademie Tutzing and the University of Graz.

Content: Growth, market-mediated division of labour and globalisation are reaching their limits. What models and instruments can be used to change course? What is the role of the tax and contribution system, what is the role of coordinated investments? Do consumption-fixated mental models have to change?

SECP Discussion Papers: New publication by Prof. Dr. Edel and colleagues

Diversity and equal opportunity are now established topics in organizational practice. In this context, the public sector, as the largest employer in Germany, is considered to play a pioneering role, even if it still has potential for development in this regard, as the few studies in the German context suggest. This study explores which organizational contextual factors prove relevant to LGBTIQ employees’ experience of discrimination in public administration (N=15 problem-centered interviews with LGBTIQ employees from eight local governments).

SECP Discussion Papers: New publication by Prof. Dr. Stork and colleagues

Stress and psychological strain are dominant phenomena in modern Western societies and play an ever-increasing role among students. In the business environment there are already various concepts that serve to reduce stress and build up resilience and usually there is also a high level of attention from management and executives. On the other hand relevant activities at universities are rather rare and above all little systematically developed.
